Digital Storytelling is a modern day way to tell a story. It's a way to engage even the most reluctant writers, allow all students to excel, and create a meaningful work of art to share with others. There are numerous programs available to use with students and many of them are free. Digital Storytelling is the art of mixing, words, pictures, music, and sometimes video clips to weave a story. A digital story could be made of photographs taken by students, claymation, scanned pictures, art created with Microsoft Paint, clip-art, video clips, and the list goes on! You know that old saying, "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words?" Well, imagine that picture, put with a little music, and some narration.... Powerful!
